Accessible showers can make a big difference to your bathing routine, providing safety and peace of mind and offer the following benefits:
Space is the single biggest contributing factor when redesigning bathrooms. Especially for our customers who tend to favour more open space to help them shower safely. To ensure we can offer this, our range of walk-in showers can be fully customised to fit strict space requirements, ensuring style and practicality come hand in hand.
Of course, larger rooms and wet rooms are more suited to walk-in showers. Not just from a fitting & installation point of view, but usability too. The extra space helps with moveability, ensuring clear paths and routes through the bathroom. That being said, our installation engineers are renowned experts at space-saving mobility bathrooms and will always do their utmost to accommodate your request.
A great example of a space saving design would be a corner shower. One of the best options for homeowners with smaller bathrooms. Smaller than other types of walk-in showers, and still offer a spacious area to clean. Usually the surrounding walls are protected by three tiled walls and a singular glass door.
Yes. We offer low-level shower tray options. This choice is ideal for those that struggle with a step or need wheelchair access. If this option appeals to you, then just speak to our surveyors to see if this type of installation is suitable for your home. Alternatively, you may wish to consider a wet room installation.
Yes. Even if you have a small bathroom, we can design it to include products that fit your space perfectly.
The cost very much depends on what you need. We work through the options with you and agree on a design and a price. For peace of mind we always fix the price before we start work. This means that if it takes us longer we won’t charge you more, unless we uncover something completely unexpected. We also offer discounts for the over 60’s, military veterans and, as part of our association with Alzheimer’s Society, for those with dementia.
Depending on your circumstances, you may qualify for a grant from your local council to help cover the cost of your accessible bathroom installation. Just speak to our team and we can help you to find out if you qualify for a Disabled Facilities Grant.
