For over 24 years, we’ve been designing stylish, accessible bathrooms that provide a safe and comfortable bathing experience. If you can no longer bathe due to limited mobility, we will create a bathroom to meet your practical needs, but one that also looks and feels luxurious. It’s our belief that assisted bathing doesn’t need to be expensive or poorly designed.
Whether you need a walk-in bath, walk-in shower or wet room, we will create a bespoke bathing solution at an affordable cost. Give us a call to find out more or to arrange a home visit and a free quote.
Starting your journey with AHM couldn’t be easier. You can get in touch via the phone, email, our contact page or by visiting us in person.
We have showrooms located in Lincoln, Maidstone and Wellington, where you can view our entire range at your leisure. There’s no appointment required and our friendly members of staff are more than happy to give guidance on any of our products.
However, we understand that not everyone will be able to travel to one of our showrooms. If this is the case, there’s no need to worry. We have team members based up and down the country who can visit you in your home. Simply get in touch with us to book a home visit.
Don’t worry if an in-person consultation doesn’t work for you. We can also carry out virtual meetings using WhatsApp or Zoom. This allows us to get a better understanding of your needs and also gives you the opportunity to learn more about our installations before making any decisions.
At AHM, we’re proud to employ a full team of hardworking professionals. Our fitters are committed to providing high-quality services. When visiting your home, they’ll show you their ID badge, so you’re reassured that you’re dealing with the right team. During the time that they’re working on your new bathroom, our fitters will treat you with respect and ensure you’re happy with the work they’re doing. We clean up after all of our services and never leave you with rubbish and waste to clear up. AHM are members of the BHTA, a consumer protection body who demand ethical practices and behavior from all companies that they work with.
Don’t let yourself be held back by limited mobility. Our bathing aids will ensure that you can navigate your bathroom safely and independently where possible. From grab rails to non-slip mats and shower stools, we have a range of equipment that will make bathing a breeze.
A smart toilet has built-in technology to give you the ultimate solution in comfort and independence. Features include an automatic lifting lid, heated seat, water spray and warm air dryer for easy use and improved hygiene.
In the UK there are approximately 900,000 people living with dementia. The Alzheimer’s Society provide help and hope to those affected by offering practical advice, emotional support, and guidance for the next step.
Many of our customers are living with dementia. Our own family has also been affected by dementia, with both our Founder and Director’s fathers being diagnosed with dementia in later life. We recognise the importance in raising awareness of this disease, and since 2019 we have supported the charity by offering ‘dementia friend’ awareness sessions for our colleagues. Since 2019, we have also raised £1900 in donations.
If you or a family member need help or advice about dementia, please visit alzheimers.org.uk which has a wealth of information. This includes an online symptoms checklist endorsed by the Royal College of GPs, which is available to download. Their work helps to support people to get a vital diagnosis and advice for living with dementia.
Our bathrooms are competitively priced with no hidden costs, and we don’t expect you to find a lower priced quote. However, we offer a price match guarantee if you do. Our price promise guarantee applies to like-for-like installations and service conditions. This offer is subject to terms and conditions.

All bathrooms, no matter the size, can be adapted to become more accessible. There are a vast range of products and options to choose from. Our mobility specialists and surveyors will take away the headache of designing a solution that suits your needs, your style and your budget. This might include a powered walk-in bath, walk-in shower or wet room, and include features such as a smart toilet, shower chairs, grab rails, slip-resistant flooring and more.
This depends on your personal requirements, available space and mobility needs. You may have a small en-suite where a shower would work best, or might have space to enjoy a long hot soak in a walk-in bath. You might prefer an open-plan solution, such as a bathroom with wet room. We will help you choose the right solution that looks stylish, feels luxurious and is a pleasure to use.
Absolutely! We know choosing a new mobility bathroom can feel daunting. It’s a job that requires specialist knowledge and experience, and with so many products to choose from it can become overwhelming. That’s why at AHM we offer a full design service with one of our surveyors, who will include products to make bathing easier that suit your budget and your style.
We certainly can. Although our speciality is very much rooted in accessible bathrooms, we will fit bathrooms without these features as well. Many of our happy clients’ families and friends come to us and ask for standard bathroom installations, which we are more than happy to do.
